As an Independent Sub-Agent, you will be authorized to sell carrier services. In an Independent Sub-Agent relationship, you represent carrier services to the customer. The customer contracts with the carrier for the services and the carrier implements and bills the customer for these services. You maintain the relationship with the customer as initial point of contact and support. An Agent must commit to nominal annual sales training requirements to maintain Independent status.
